The 13-year-old Qatari prodigy Mubarak Musa Thiik Madut stunned the tournament right from the first match of day 2. Standing at 2.10 meters tall and playing as the opposite hitter, he scored 12 points for Qatar, including 5 blocks, 2 aces and 5 successful attacks. Qatar lost 3-0 to Thailand with set scores of 22-25, 19-25 and 14-25.
